CBS has put in development Under Suspicion, a drama series based on the bestselling crime thriller book series by Mary Higgins Clark, from Allegiance executive producer John Glenn, Momentum TV and Universal TV.
Written and executive produced by Canadian writer Greg Spottiswood (Remedy), Under Suspicion is about a justice-seeking investigative journalism team that produces an award-winning true-crime series that investigates unsolved major crimes through the eyes of those who are closest to the victims — and who also are the prime suspects. Glenn is executive producing via his overall deal at Uni TV, alongside Momentum TV’s Nick Hamm and Sabrina Eisenstadt.
The Under Suspicion book series includes I’ve Got You Under My Skin, All Dressed In White, The Cinderella Murder and The Sleeping Beauty Killer. The last three novels were cowritten by Alafair Burke. Clark is repped by attorney Penelope Glass. Spottiswood is repped at APA, the Alpern Group and Stone Genow. Glenn is repped by WME, Circle of Confusion and Sloane Offer. Momentum TV and Hamm are repped by WME and Rain Management Group.
